The fantastic novelistic inspiration of Jules Verne’s story guided Zannetti in the creation of Zacharius, a dive watch with a unique and absolutely out-of-the-ordinary design. The first important choice was that of the material: bronze. Although bronze is usually less hard and less resistant than steel, it is however more elastic and more resistant to corrosion, especially from seawater, it also resists solicitations better.
On the dial we find a fairy-tale graphic that draws us into the futuristic world of Jules Verne: the vertical grid, in black enamel, engraved once again on bronze, echoes the air intake of a submarine or the cabin of a hot air balloon.
