Rome, February 2021. This year Zannetti celebrates the Chinese New Year and the Year of the Ox with three Special Editions.
On February 12th 2021 begins the “Year of the Ox”, and as a tribute to this massive and mighty animal, the Roman watchmaker’s workshop is going to release three Limited Edition timepieces.
The maison is launching two variations of Regent ‘Bufalo’ using micro-painting on a mother-of-pearl dial. One model represents a vigorous and combatant ox, with big strong horns. While the other one is designed with belligerent and ready for action attitude. In the midst of this scenario we will see the luminescent hands rotating, driven by a precise self-winding Swiss Automatic movement.
Limited series of 3 pieces per model. Stainless steel case.
These celebrative series are completed with the timepiece, Gladiatore “Ox”: presented using a natural ivory dial called corozo. The dial is finely engraved with a colorful ox’s face. Along the outline of the dial, the passing of time is marked by geometrical details punctuated by small black triangles every 5 minutes, both functional and aesthetically pleasing, precisely serving the art of measuring time.
Still, on the dial, the Zannetti logo stands out as a distinctive signature together with the inscriptions, “Hand Made Roma”, giving emphasis to the Maison Zannetti’s proud Roman origins.
Micro-painting gladiator on corozo. One version. Steel case. Dial in corozo, engraved and with micro-painting in polychrome enamel done by hand. Limited series of 3 pieces. Swiss automatic movement.
The Special Edition timepieces are now available for purchase in our website. You can also visit our flagship store in Via di Monte D’Oro, 23 – Rome, should you wish to see the watch personally.
